Re: TTC and breastfeeding....3mo...
I'm not judging, but it might be good to consider why it is that it's harder for most women to get pregnant when breastfeeding. It's because your body is focusing on nourishing you and another human. Fertility returning is generally a sign that your body is more ready to take on another task, that of growing a baby. I'm sure that you've considered how a new pregnancy might affect your nursing your current baby- some women have no problems nursing through a pregnancy, but others (myself included) have a lot of pain while nursing or just dry up completely. Again, this is a sign that your body just cannot support everyone.
That said, it sounds crazy or too simple but eggs are good for increasing fertility, probably because they are so nutrient-dense. Fish eggs/roe were sacred foods in many ancient cultures that were sought out and given to women before conception and while pregnant. Free-range eggs are also great to add for fertility, and more palatable in my opinion. There's a book that you might like called "real food for mother and baby" that has good suggestions for foods to eat. I would think that you should be eating really nutrient-dense foods and going a while without nursing to convince your body that you can handle another pregnancy. There is some research that suggests that children that close together are not as healthy, though. I personally wouldn't risk it.
