Allergy test results are in (16 month old)
My 16 month old was never an easy baby. Colic, reflux, RSV at 10 days old. Screamed a LOT. Sleep is rare and always has been.
I eliminated dairy from my diet (breastfeeding) when she was about 6 weeks old, and there was a significant improvement. I kind of suspected an egg allergy too, but we only went with cutting dairy at the time. Fast forward to 16 months. She is VERY active and healthy all around, except she hardly ever eats anything besides breastmilk, and she weighs 18 pounds. She is in the 50th percentile for height, but less than 5% for weight. When she eats most anything, she would put it in her mouth...spit it out...throw it in the floor, and refuse to eat anything else. We had testing and found out today that she is allergic to soy, peanut, milk, and egg. I can't say I didn't anticipate it, but it is just confirmed now. My family finally accepts it and is jumping in to research recipes and labels. Doc wants to see us again in 3 months. He gave us some powdered stuff (NAK. will look it up in a bit) that is vanilla flavored and is supposed to be a calorie-packing nutrition drink. We were also given an epi pen and some medicine that will stimulate her appetite. SO overwhelmed! Anyone else with little ones with the same allergies? ETA: I hope this is in the right forum. If not, please move it!

Re: Allergy test results are in (16 month old)
DS has dairy and soy intolerances so different but he could not have any at all for a LONG time and can still not have soy. He was put on elecare and it really helped him in jump starting his weight. It was vanilla flavored, maybe that is what they gave you. Good luck and just be vigilant in making sure she doesn't eat what she isn't supposed to. DS has texture/sensory issues and did therapy for it which helped quite a bit. He did it through first steps as he also did/does speech therapy and physical therapy for gross motor as well.

Re: Allergy test results are in (16 month old)
My 15 mon old has allergies to wheat, soy, milk, tomato, sweet potato, coconut, rice, almond milk(not sure if almonds are the actual allergen yet) banana, cinnamon maybe forgetting some it;s late
Pretty much my daughter has reactions to all food besides baked potato.Does your daughter have food reactions now with foods or your bm? Hives? Stomach pain? dirrhea? Anyway, please know that until you see a reaction from these foods testing alone does not mean she's actually allergic to all these foods. False positives are very common. My daughter actually tests negative to both skin & rast but reacts so she also is in the small 3% that test neg but positive. Believe me it gets easier as time goes on Hang in there.

Re: Allergy test results are in (16 month old)
DS is a 3 for soy, and a 2 or 1 for pretty much everything else they tested. He drinks vanilla Peptamin Jr. It is super expensive, but one of the only things he'd actually drink that works for him. Our bill is about $5000 a month for it though. Thank goodness for insurance.
What we were told was to ignore all the 1s, and avoid yeast/bread as much as possible, and just feed him whole fruits/veggies. It is frustrating, but I am learning to deal with it.
