Dying wool with kool aid?

I've dyed several skeins of wool yarn with kool aid and knit it up, but not a finished product. My phone won't let me post pics though, it keeps saying I've exceeded my quota

I tried it with a couple of Imse Vimse's that had shot elastic in the back and they turned out unevenly dyed since I had to put them on the stove in a pot But, my hubby thought it was a good start and suggested that it would have come out more evenly if they were laid out flat while being set! I'll try to post pics sometime!
