Re: Bleb for two weeks help!!!
I would pop it (runs to hide under table). Seriously though, that is the only thing that ever worked for me. I little pin prick in the top of the bleb, and backed up milk would just pour out.

I mean it don't hurt anymore but it's still there. I may have to stop being a chicken and do it. I just don't like the though of a needle going near my boob lol.

Re: Bleb for two weeks help!!!
It's a milk blister, which is when a piece of skin grows over the milk duct and then milk gets "trapped" behind it, so to speak.
KellyMom recommends applying moist heat before nursing, and to do a saline soak before that several times a day. You can also loosen the overgrown skin with your fingernail. If that (and nursing on the milk blister) doesn't help, pop that sucker with a needle . Make sure it's sterile, or get your doctor to do it if you're worried about infection. It doesn't hurt!http://kellymom.com/bf/concerns/mother/nipplebleb/

Oh I know blebs well. You've gotta prick that sucker with a pin (it won't hurt). Instant relief. Don't forget to peel away the extra skin. Of course use clean hands and pin
