Great story! Parts of it remind me of my different births - feeling fine between contractions, screaming rather than those nice loan moan sounds, thining a half dollar of baby's head being visible was way too little progress, and that grapefruit in the butt feeling. So glad everything worked out well, you feel great, and your baby is doing well!

Wonderful story! I know it sucks to have a NICU stay like that, but you and baby overcame it! These awesome birth stories are giving me nice contractions from all the warm-fuzzies

Congrats! She's beautiful! My 4-week-old DS (who was 40 weeks, 5 days) had a 5-day NICU stay because of "infection" after he was born too (and even my OB said he didn't think DS needed to be there). It was awful and I totally know how you feel! So glad both of you are home and doing well!
