What do you grill?

Have you thought of cooking with something other than a grill outside? Most houses have an electrical outlet somewhere on the side of their house (or in the garage). Right now I'm frying bacon on my countertop skillet outside on the patio for BLTs. For dinner we had patty melts and hashbrowns on it. (And it's so hot outside right now, I think the sun is cooking the tops at the same time :-) Other mamas in the crockpot thread reminded me that crockpots are another great way to cook in the summer, even though I tend to think of them as a winter thing.

Dh's favorites are bacon wrapped whole mushrooms and bacon wrapped Jalapenos. (You cut them open and stuff the jalapenos with cream cheese or cheddar cheese). I love zucchini with just butter or olive oil. I also like cubed potatoes with onions, butter, and cheese wrapped in foil.

We do ribs with homemade bbq sauce, brats (put onion and bell peppers in foil with butter), Chicken (we put in a ziplock bag and marinade overnight. Then grill stuff to go with it. Like Teriyaki chicken we will grill pineapple), pork chops with apple quarters, skirt steak (the Good Eats method of directly on the charcoal), etc.

I usually make a garden salad. If we have guests, I have a veggie tray, fruit tray and chips. (I've never once had left over strawberries!)
