I've been away from DS for 2 years and I just came back this week so I'm still getting reacquainted with the lingo. So far I've deduced that a rainbow baby is one that is conceived after a miscarriage? Am I right?

A Rainbow Baby is a baby conceived after a loss either before or after birth.

btw not to be pessimistic or anything but what is the rainbow baby called if the pregnancy is lost? Is there a name for it?

Then you would be in search of a double rainbow.

I feel like there are a ton of rainbow babies on this particular ddc.

Is there a thread for Mamas expecting their Rainbow babies? I've searched, but if there isnt one, we should start one so that we all have a place to share in our concerns and fears.
