Where to start???
I am NEW to this, but would really like to try baby wearing. My son is almost 2 yrs old and weighs 30 lbs - is there a carrier that would be comfortable for him and also for me? I did use a Moby Wrap with him when he was new (didn't quite get secure feeling for me) and then a front carrier for a short time around 1 year old, which I really liked, but he seemed to outgrow it.
He still wants held a lot and I would like to try it when we are on walks and out and about. Any suggestions appreciated!

Re: Where to start???
I've used a couple different types of carriers (ring sling, Baby Bjorn, Ergo, Moby wrap), and I love my Ergo for toddler carrying. I'm a petite woman (5'3" and 105 lbs.) and have found that the Ergo is comfortable for carrying a 20-30 lb. baby on the back.

Re: Where to start???
Mommagruber, I have tried the Babyhawk Oh Snap, the Ergo, the Boba, and Girasol wraps and both my husband and I love the BH Oh Snap the best for our 2 year old. All others we could never get used to or enjoy. I was a Moby fan when she weighed under 20 pounds. But now, at 30 + it is the OS for sure.

I just got a used Boba and I love it. My son is 23 lbs. I am pregnant and it distributes weight well and doesn't hurt at all.
