You all had such productive weekends! I got an amazing surprise Friday night when my MIL, SILs and nieces from Virginia showed up at my doorstep to go to Saturday's baby shower. DH and all my friends were involved in the surprise for the past couple months and I had NO CLUE! Needless to say, I was not productive this weekend, but I didn't care. I had a great time and it was so good to see them and visit! They all made themselves at home in the kitchen, cooking and cleaning so I didn't feel like I had to entertain at all.
This week I need to -write thank you cards -draw a new cover pattern and sew it -finish my froggie hat -wash clothes, linens and diapers I know I'll add to that list, but that's all I can think of first thing Monday morning. Today I'm getting my car seat installation check, MW appt and tomorrow we have our second childbirth class.Sent from my Android using DS Forum

Lucky duck! You reminded me that I wanted to get my car seat installation check done plus I need to get use to having it in there. I have a Dr. Appt Wednesday including a pelvic.....I hate when we start the pelvics. I just need to make it through this week and then baby is welcome whenever....I said that so doesn't it seal my fate...LOL

You can always refuse internals
i did qith DS2 for awhile. My To Do list today includes launsry catch up, making more wipes, and maybe replacing the velcro on a few. If im feeling it, maybe i'll prep the nb sizes. I think i have a chiro appt today, too. Sent from my DROID X2 using DS Forum. That means my typing is probably awful. I'm sorry.

Re: What do you have to do?
I'm so glad I got it checked. I knew going in that I had it installed incorrectly and I told her that. I was way off and learned a lot! She actually recommended NOT using the LATCH system since that's only good up to 40lbs, including the seat, and it's only on the side seats, whereas safest place for baby is the middle seat. So she said forget that and just use the factory installed seat belt in the middle. She spent 15-20 minutes with me and I'm sooo glad I took the time.

Hmm I wonder what she will say for me considering I have a trailblazer and supposedly they don't recomend using the middle seat on it, and mine was made early 2002 the only time they didn't cone with the latch system.

Re: What do you have to do?
I got my first load of baby clothes and receiving blankets washed this morning. Yay! I got something accomplished! Still need to wash sheets, blankets and diapers. But we still haven't emptied out the dresser, so I don't really have anywhere to put the clean stuff. I am running really low on energy. I've been having trouble staying awake at work the last couple days. I just don't want to do anything, but I have plenty to get done!

Whatta u think?...
IF I do a rummage sale, it'll be this weekend. Hubby thinks I'm crazy, and while he will help do the setup and lifting, but as for the "customers" I think he will make himself scarce (with ds, of course). I dunno, is it worth it? I currently have NOTHING set up, and have tonight and tmrw night to set up. Working til thurs and then have "date night" going to a baby event at our hospital(they give out some sweet prizes so were hoping to win some nice stuff). And id do the rummage Friday/saturday. Is it doable? 2 evenings to set up tables, make signs, price things(though a lot of it id keep simple like a .50 table), advertise, whatever else. Oh and my SIL wantd to have my neice and nephew come over and run a lemonade stand.... So would have to set that up too. And PROBABLY run it too cause they are 5 and 7(with the 7 yr old having some brain issues where he acts more like a 4 yr old)... I don't know, do I relax and make a few trips to goodwill to get rid of stuff? Or attempt to make a couple hundred so I can put up curtains in our bedroom(have never had curtains in that room) laundry room and 2 hallways, and get some bedding that fits the bed? A king bed with a full comforter. Yeah. Pretty sad. Tho now I don't care I let hubby use all the covers cause I'm so hot anyway).... I dunno. Talk me into or out of it... Would u do a rummage at this stage of pregnancy? Last edited by chach4; 07-17-2012 at 12:56 PM. |

I would! I was gonna last week but hubby was so busy I wouldn't have had any help. Any little bit of money I could get would be awesome! Besides it meaning not having it in my house. I probably will donate to amvets as well so it would give myself a chance to inventory.
