When you mail it, take a picture of the card where the number is clearly visible. That way, if you do get a claim, you can pull up the balance on the website and show it if necessary to PayPal. And show that that was your card, in case someone had a different card with a $0 balance claiming it was used. Also SS balance at time of mailing.
