I miss it - this was our "last" and while I don't think three would be right for us I'm sad to know I'll never feel those kicks again.

same, although another would be 5 for us. I kinda miss it, but not enough to want another child.

Re: So does anyone miss being pregnant?
i guess there are some things i miss. i love the way i look when i'm pregnant. and i love feeling my little baby move around in there. but i hate the constant nausea which lasts up until the end for me, i hate being so tired, the aches and pains, and the last month just sucked. i don't really love the overall experience of being pregnant.
also, i have to admit, i don't love the early newborn weeks either. maybe it's cause i'm just emerging from them. but the lack of sleep, the nipple pain, the constant nursing, the inability to do anything else but care for the baby. ugh. the squishy newborn is adorable, don't get me wrong. i love her. but i miss my son and the time we used to get to spend together, and the outings i would have liked to do this summer that have instead been replaced with him watching movies all day while i sit and let the baby tear my nipples to pieces nursing all day. i'm much happier now that she's almost 2 months. she's sleeping better at night, nursing has become the wonderful bonding experience that i so enjoyed with my son (after the first 3 months, when i hated it), and she's awake more and smiling at me! in another month or so, i will be just thrilled with my new lot in life as a mom of 2. i LOVE having an older infant, i ADORE having a toddler and now a preschooler, and will love it even more the older they get. but after 2 kids, i have to admit that i am not a newborn person. honestly, right now i don't know if we'll have more. mainly because we won't be able to afford daycare for another one. i'm kind of sad about it, i'd love more, and make no promises that i won't be changing my mind in another year or 2. i'd love another CHILD but if i never had another newborn, i'd be a-ok with that. and right now, that's my big reason for not missing being pregnant. i feel like, i'm on to the fun part now! THIS is what i've been waiting for and why i went through pregnancy and the newborn stage! but if i was still pregnant, i'd have to do the last 8 weeks again. that's honestly the first thing i thought when i saw the title to this thread. blech.
