Lots of Summer Woolie Raves

Since summer is more than half over I am done accumulating summer wool

I wanted to share some of the beautiful pieces that were knit, sewed and dyed by so many talented mamas.

First is a scrappy soaker knit by erinsuun. This soaker is one of my favorites because it's sturdy, adorable and goes with everything. Erinsuun also did a pair of overalls that are just gorgeous.



Cmaniezzz knit these beautiful capris on DBK Double rainbow. I can't wait until it gets below 100 degrees so we can wear them more often. Nita also knit some skirted longies that are to die for.


MrsSrtipe knit these Bayside Britches on Pinkebody's Legend of a Cowgirl. Love, love, love these.


Jeanie from Chasing Zen made this adorable skirtie.



When I was looking for a colorway to match some fabric, Stevensmom suggested Katie from Dayzee Chain on HC. Within 24 hours of my contacting her, Katie dyed and sent the yarn I used for these bloomers. There's no action shot because they're drying. While Katie's work is flawless, you can see why I would rather have someone knit for me.

Everything is so cute including your DD! I think you did a very good job on those bloomers as well.

Aww, thanks. She hates getting her picture taken, so I'm always really excited when she smiles. As for the bloomers, I'm just not happy with my ruffles. It was my first attempt though. Maybe they'll come out better next time.

It isn't hard to say kind words. Your work is so beautiful. I'm a little worried about my wallet though now that I've entered the world of custom dying.

Kids are a slippery slope. At least wool holds it's value better than most kids clothes (or this is what I tell myself).
