What was the weight and height of your NB and how long did they fit into their NB size clothes? Just trying to get a general idea of how long my LO will fit into all the clothes that I have for him.

Depends on how big your baby is. I'm thinking 10 pounds. My DS was out of them in two weeks tops

DS1 was 8lb6oz. He was a pretty proportionate baby and was out of NB in a couple of weeks. DS2 was 6lb11oz with a long, slim build (preemie baby). He wore NB tops and bottoms for about 3 months (he was too long for the sleepers around 2 months).

It all depends on how your baby is built.

The only NB sized outfit/clothing we used was the coming home outfit.

We went right to 0-3 and stayed there until 8ish weeks

ETA: DD1 - 7lbs13oz, DS1 - 8lbs7ozs, DD2 - 8lbs4ozs, DS2 - 9lbs2ozs

my ds was 7lb9oz and 20in long at birth and stayed in NB clothes for the first 2 months, the skipped over 0-6 and went straight to 6-9 till he was 6 month old, then wore 12 and is still in the 12 at 2 years old

Mine were both between 9 and 10 pounds, neither of them fit into NB for more than a week, most NB stuff didn't fit at all.

My first was born at 9lbs 5 oz and 22in long, and he never fit in any of his NB sized outfits. My second was 7lbs 6oz and 20in long at birth, and she wore newborn sizes for about 5-6 weeks. I think she outgrew them at around 10lbs.

DD was 7 lbs 4 oz and wore nb clothes for maybe a month. She wasn't good at gaining weight.

DS was 8 lbs 8 oz and went straight to 0-3 mos size.

I would not buy nb clothing again ds fit straight away into 0-3 months.
