Baby Crockpot meals
I have been doing one-pot crockpot meals and am venturing into turkey today. I am wondering about adding the liquid in the crockpot when I chop/blend it. Crockpot liquid is always a super strong taste, at least in my experience. Has anyone had to add water instead? I don't really want to add water because the nutrients will be plentiful in the crockpot liquid, but I also don't want to have MEAT MEAT MEAT be the only flavor.
Right now I have part of a turkey breast, part of a turkey thigh, carrots, apples, and water in there. I plan to add some cooked brown rice before sticking it in the bullet.

Re: Baby Crockpot meals
All I can say is that babies generally prefer strong tastes. You'd be amazed. The smellier stuff went down much better with my girl - parsnips were her favorite and it was such a strong veggie.
General babyfood is sorta bland, but that's because it was invented when it was being eaten by 4month olds (or younger) who couldn't handle much but needed the nutrients (before formula had as much as it has now). I wouldn't change your recipe.
