I wasnt going for these shenanigans with this pregnancy, took 3 calls and talking to several different people but I will not be getting blood work or an ultrasound to confirm anything. I was charting, I know when I OV'd and my LMP, I'm not spending any extra money because of needless policies. My first appointment with a CNM is August 6th, I'll be 13 1/2 weeks. If you assert yourself and talk to the right people (receptionists are usually worthless in this area) you can usually work something out.

I've always had to do this for insurance. Just go to the health department and take a pee test and they will write you a confirmation form that you can send in. It's pointless, I know, but if you have to have it for insurance, then you have to have it.
