I'm in Tullahoma, about half-way between Nashville and Chattanooga.

I don't know about Christian, but there are a ton of midwives associated with Vanderbilt. They have a CNM program.

There's also a birthing center in Cookeville, about an hour away. I think they do appointments in Mt Juliet.

I'm in Nolensville, about 15 miles southeast of Nashville. I have heard good things about the Vanderbilt midwives, and my sister was with them for her second baby. There's also Tender Beginnings, in Franklin; I don't know much about them, and their site doesn't specifically state that they are Christian (at least not that I saw), but there was this article: http://www.tender-beginnings.com/blo...onal-birthing/ that suggests they are Christian.

There is a very awesome set of midwives in Waynesboro. There is a birthing center there that is amazing! That is where I just had our last little boy! They don't have a great web page, but it is worth visiting, the Natchez Trace Birth Center.

I'm in Nashville. Used the Vandy Nurse Midwives with my first. Going with a vbac friendly OB this time. The midwives were great, i just didn't like how many there were and the chances of YOUR midwife doing the delivery is very slim. There are lots of great homebirth Midwives in the area but they book up VERY quickly and lots aren't taking patients at the moment. Basically you need to call before even peeing on a stick. lol.
