Gdiaper cover with prefold for night?

Anyone tried this? My dd is not a super heavy wetter in general, but it seems like you would need some type of doubler - I was thinking of wrapping a microfiber insert inside the prefold (so only the pf touches her skin).

Any experience? Suggestions?

I've used my G-diaper cover w/ pf's and they work awesome !!! I would also lay a piece of fleece against baby's skin to keep her feeling dry

I use an infant prefold in my M/L gDiapers and don't have any problems at night.

my daughters a pretty moderate wetter and i use a prefold with a light doubler and a layer of fleece to help keep the wetness off of her skin. sometimes i get some slight dampness near her tummy, but nothing that makes her uncomfortable.

Re: Gdiaper cover with prefold for night?

so glad you asked this! I found a newborn size g diaper cover at the thrift store recently and was debating whether it would get any use at my house and whether it was even waterproof without that snap-in plastic shower cap looking thing. sounds like it's worth keeping around! Another question: is it worth it to attempt to replicate the shower cap liner thing--in fleece, perhaps--or not? TIA!
