We did horizons math last year and my oldest 2 were able to do it without much instruction. Now we moved to saxon so in the upper grades they have a textbook to reference when needed and it goes through calculus unlike horizons.

Re: What do you use for 2nd grade math?

We are using Horizons this year. Since our oldest is just going into second, I can't tell you how it will go, but we loved Horizons for 1st last year!

Re: What do you use for 2nd grade math?

Thanks for all the great ideas. In the beginning of the year we are going to use the SchoolZone 2nd grade big math book and then I am seriously considering Horizons and CLE for use in October or so.
