In-laws are moving here, their dog is staying with us right now, then they and there 4 birds will be staying with us for 4 or 5 days until they can move into their new house and then we have to help them unpack like crazy because my BIL and his family will be coming home for R&R and staying there for a month! Hope there is another one of these in October or November >_> Once MIL is settled in we both plan to get busy sewing as we both have totes upon totes of fabric sitting.

Do we have a host yet? I would be totally okay with hosting, but with baby due the beginning of September, I would hate to disappear on you all! I'll volunteer to host in, say, October, though?

I figured I could bust out a few dresses for DD for in the fall. (I'm loving these... http://www.hannaandersson.com/style....simg=38945_11C ) DH bought some pink camo fabric with John Deere tractor logos on it. I'm suppose to make DD something out of that. (Yes really ... he bought it!)Then I thought I might try my hand at making some training pants and matching dresses for this winter. (Some nice snuggly vintage polyester!) And I also want to make DD some PJ's as she is hating anything on her feet and her Footie pj's make her mad! (I have the fabric & patterns picked out!)

Aug 5th is international Friendship day... Bonus for making something for a friend??
Aug 13th is left handers day... No clue there but thought someone more clever than I could think of something.
Aug 19th is Eid-ul-fitr (the end of Ramadan) ... Again no clue.
24th is St Bartholomews Day. Again no clue
Maybe a bonus for a Back to school project?

I love the back to school and friendship ideas!

I have a lot of stuff to get done this month- more nursing pads, baby #4s coming home dress, DS' shorts, carseat canopy, aprons for DD's birthday party, wipes, pillowcase dresses, and after all that, I plan to start Christmas crafting!

I'm cleaning my sewing machine today so it's all squeeky clean and ready to go tomorrow! I have to can peaches on Thursday and that's kinda time sensitive so I have to get sewing as much as possible tomorrow
