Re: Crockpot recipies?

I take chicken breasts (however many you need and you could use any kind of chicken )and then add i can green enchilada sauce and 1 can red. I cook until chicken falls apart and serve on tortillas. YUM

Re: Crockpot recipies?

One of my faves that my mom used to make when I was a kid.

Put a beef round steak (usually cheap meat) or eye of round in the crock and cover with Golden Mushroom Soup. Let it cook all day then serve over rice or mashed potatoes. The soup makes a gravy and the meat just falls apart.

Another thing I love to make is a vegetable soup/stew.

I don't really have a recipe I just throw in what I like/have on hand, but it is usually something like this.

2 tomatoes, or 1-2 cans of stewed tomatoes
1/2 onion
2 potatoes
carrots
celery
zuchini
corn, peas, green beans
sometimes I put in a pound of ground beef or ground turkey, but it is good w/o too. Sometimes I will add a can of beans.

I just keep adding until the crock is full, no water added, the veggies will give you all the liquid you will need. Let it cook all day, usually half on high then I turn it down to low. I serve it with rice and shredded cheese on top.

YUMMY!!!
