Re: Newborn baby wearing
i've been wearing my 8 week old in my ring sling since she was about 2 days old. i love it because it's easily adjustable and keeps her all snuggled up against me. i'm also figuring out how to nurse in it which is sooo convenient. i used it a lot with my son as a baby too, but i never got the nursing down with him. definitely the ring sling is my favorite nb carrier. although i've never tried wrapping to be honest. i could see it being really nice for a newborn, but the ring sling seems faster
we've also been using the bbII some as well. for a ssc, i think this is a really great choice for a nb. it has the infant insert which works really well. i think the ring sling is, again, faster in and out, and more snuggly. but dh uses the beco a lot and really likes it. and i find that it's nice to use if i'm trying to do things like clean the house or something, and want a little bit more support. we also are using this for a nb for the first time. we originally bought it when ds was 1 yr and used it up until he was 2.5 (now we have a preschool kinderpack for him) so it will last for awhile. really love this carrier. |
