Bulletproof Toddler Cover

For toddler mamas what's your favorite nightime combo and cover? I have an extreme wetter.

I have a super heavy wetter toddler too. He even peed through a wool soaker. I use either a pooters fitted or a sandy's bamboo terry fitted. I have also use a happy hempy and kissaluvs hemp/cotton and they didnt leak but the other two are my favorites. Inside I use a total of 3 (1 is folded in half in the front) one size babykicks joeybunz inserts (NOT the premium) and I cover with a mother ease airflow cover.

DD1 was a super heavy wetter. I used a MEOS with snap-in liner, a Hemp Babies Bigger and Little Weeds, and all under a Dappi pull-on. Never had a leak that way, and she could easily pee right through an overnight Huggies.

both of my kids have gone through phases when they could pee through a Huggies overnight easily. I've used a couple of different fitteds -- for DS1 a Very Baby Simply Nights with extra insert (Joey Bunz hemp folded into the front of the diaper) and for DS2 I use Bububebe fitteds with all the inserts (for awhile, while he was still nursing a lot at night, I had to use that fitted PLUS a hemp prefold trifolded over top of the diaper. it. was. ridiculous!). Anyway, I don't have a strong preference for brand, but I always recommend a good, absorbant fitted plus whatever extra inserts you need.

I do have strong brand preference for cover though : we only use Loveybums interlock wraps at night. They're the only brand that I know of that has a full double layer of interlock. as long as you've got a sufficiently absorbant diaper, I've found these covers to be absolutely bulletproof.

DS sleeps in a toddler prefold (trifolded with the front doubled over), Thirsties fab doubler, and Knickernappies stay dry hemp insert in a Blueberry coverall. He also usually sleeps in thick fleece pants, but that's because he's goofy and wants to die of heat exhaustion. It's a bit bulky but this kid has been known to soak through a sposie and fleece pants at my mum's house.

When DD was peeing through regular absorbency dipes, I used a GMD WH with a Thirsties prefold wrapped around the middle, under either a Coverall or wool.

I have recently stumbled across a PERFECT nightime solution for my VERY heavy wetting 14 mth old son. He nurses all night long and seriously can pee more than niagra falls!

I put him in a Swaddlebees Capri cover (size 2 on middle rise setting) with a size 2 capri insert that has a size large Thirsties hemp insert layed in between the 2 folded layers...kindof sandwiched in between. It holds him for 12+ hours easy with NO leaks...and the stay dry top part of the capri insert keeps his skin happy overnight- the best part of this combo is how TRIM it is on him! I mean..he can keep his legs together and when laying on his back he can actually lay flat and is very comfy!! I have tried so many combos of various diapers, prefolds, Flip organic etc and this is by far the best combo I have ever used that works and is comfy and flexible for baby too!
