Re: Whirlpool Duet front loader - how's it do for washing diapers?
i have it...and hate it
it usually takes several rinses to get anything clean. and it really wears out our clothes, i've noticed. usually takes just a few washes on our clothes before they start having little holes here and there. I'd say at least 75% of our clothes have a small hole somewhere

We have it and I do
Heavy duty with a presoak and extra rinse. Using tide Clean everytime and no stinks. I've never had issues with holes in my clothes. I don't think it's the washer. May be the water or detergent ![]() **I do know how to spell...my iPod on the other hand does not**

Re: Whirlpool Duet front loader - how's it do for washing diapers?
not ideal but not bad. i have the duet sport ht, which has a sanitize option i can use if she's sick or something, it kills germs. otherwise i just use whitest whites, which is hot water with an extra rinse. before i do whitest whites, i do a cycle on delicate - it uses the most water, doesn't spin it all out, so the diapers are good and heavy when it's starting the whitest whites load.
i am just fine with leaving the door open a bit all the time, it's no big deal. i left the door open on a top loader too, i don't see any difference. the only thing i don't like about my specific washer is, there's no option to add extra water. that might be different with different models though. |

HORRIBLE!
Can't get it to get enough water. We bought an apartment sized TL last week for me to use because I couldn't take it anymore. I have been dealing with stink too long and did everything I could think of to try to fix it

I also add a soaked beach towel to my loads

I have a 5 year old duet. I love it.
I do a rinse and spin. Then a whitest white with extra time using tide and oxygen bleach. Then another short cold wash cycle just to really make sure they are rinsed well. I could probably drop the last cycle, but it's working so I don't want to mess with it. I usually add a towel or two as well to increase the water in the load.
