Re: Very small newborn clothing

twins at 34 weeks. we worried that they couldn't stretch there legs with preemie clothes once tehy were a few weeks old. we ended up cutting the "feet" off of sleepers and using socks. Perfect body fit and they could stretch their legs. They wore "big" newborn clothes for going out/etc.

Sorry was just lurking and decided I would jump in. My youngest was born at 24 weeks and weighed just under 6 lbs. at first his newborn clothes were so big so we found some Gerber Just born size at Walmart and they were perfect. Kind of in between newborn and preemie size

Re: Very small newborn clothing

I was going to suggest Gerber (hard to get here in Canada, but I had a friend send me some from CA). I also find the Gagou Tagou brand size stuff is also great.

Re: Very small newborn clothing

nextdirect.com carries a "new baby" size perfect for preemies, (they also have "up to 1 month" size when they start to wear newborn, before the 0-3 size). It is a UK company but shipping is low and fast so we usually have our package within 5 business days. plus their baby clothes are CUTE CUTE CUTE! especially if you are looking for something different from the usual US brands..

I would also recommend avababys.com for fancy outfits dressing up your tiny bundle, as well as jacquispreemiepride.com and www.preemiestore.com (both the latter sites also carry NICU friendly clothes)

We had one preemie saque from carters that we loved it was long and narrow (but tiny) and kept her bundled nicely

Carters newborn worked best for my little one, who was born 5lb 8 oz. He is on the long and skinny side and Carters still seems to fit him best now.
