0 spend in august support group

Im in....better late than never. Im only going to write down non monthly bills....my zero spending goal is nothing unbudgeted.

I would like to join. This month is an expensive one between school supplies, gymnastics meet season costs, and supplementing fall clothes for older 3 kids. I'm really hoping to stay as close to budgeted spending as possible.

Today should be a $0 spend. We spent the morning at my parent's pool and then they took us out to lunch. We're in for the evening so unless I'm tempted by something online we should be in the clear!

BTW, I am updating my original post with the totals but posting a daily update too.

I'm in DH is getting out of the Army in December, so we're really buckling down on saving. Since it's the 4th, i'll start with today. We are going out of town later this month (leaving the 29th), though, so I can't be 0 spend then. I DO need support for between now and then, and then for Sept, though

I'll join this month... we've spent a lot this summer between paying our mother's helper that's only available during the summer, and all the home improvements... the less we spend this month the more we can put towards credit card debt we've added up the last month or two.

6 $11 or so. My husband took the baby with him to his chiropractor apt to have her adjusted and he picked up a $5 footlong and milk which we were out of. It came out of cash he got for Fathers day so didn't really count. I saved us $5 because I was going to go along but I stayed home and ate leftovers
7 probably no spend, and the dh and 3 older kids will get supper free. They are riding with grandma and grandpa to a John Deere hosted dinner. I'm staying home because we can't all fit and that way we save the gas money and I get to get a little down time with just the baby.
8 8.xx little ceasars pizza and breadsticks for supper because my husband had a church softball game. Brought drinks from home. $88.xx groceries, got 10 lbs butter for $1.49/ lb. Butter kernel veggies were .39 each so I got a bunch of beans and a few corn. Then we need some stuff for potluck meals coming up, and 2 packs Oreos for making an ice cream cake for my oldest 2 boys birthday party. Going to try to get through the rest of the month with just milk and a bit of produce

Our power went out yesterday, and is still out, ugh. We have an electric stove so cooking is out of the question. We have eaten alot of pb and honey sandwhiches the last 24 hours, lol!
