Nana's bottoms sizing help

Anyone have a med and a large? How do they fit? My son is 24 lbs and her size large starts at 25lbs but has a 17.5" waist which is her medium size. Not sure what to order?

Thanks but the med long just gives a longer rise. I'm smack in the middle of sizes!

Maybe you could get a large with a crossover touchtape tab so it can go smaller in the waist?

I thought about a crossover waist too. I just decided to go with the medium and make the rise a little taller. if they are too small I'll just order larges. Thanks everyone!
