Placenta Previa C-section

Congrats mama glad to hear the good news. I had a complete precia and increta with my YDS and had to have a c/s hysterectomy at 33 weeks.

I'm not trying to cause upset, but I seem to remember a correlation between complete previa at 20 weeks and breech presentation later on, regardless of the placenta clearing or not.

It may be the case that their is a correlation. Anecdotally I've only heard it to be a higher chance while the placenta is covering. My baby was breech only until the placenta moved and I delivered him head down. Interestingly my babe before him was a persistent breech with no previa or even low placenta.

I almost forgot about this post!
I had my 28 week ultrasound two weeks ago and it moved!!!!! It is still only 2cm away from the cervix, so they'll do another ultrasound in 2 more weeks to check it.
I am just thrilled I don't have to have a c-section! Thank you to all the mamas who supported me and helped me be more confident!!

Awesome to hear that yours moved already! I found out at my 20 week ultrasound that I have complete previa. I go in again next week (24 weeks) to see if there's been any change. My doctor was upfront that there is less chance of it moving when it's complete vs partial, but still said I have about a 50/50 chance. Sounds like a lot of mamas on here had theirs move... hoping mine does too!

Hey mama, this is a pretty old thread, but you shouldn't be to 24 weeks yet. If it doesn't move feel free to send me a message if you have questions or need someone to talk to. Or just post your own thread and I will look for it! I delivered my baby six weeks ago by c-sec because of placenta previa.
