Ad space on blog!

I'm starting my own blog about my home school journey with my ds and my 2 dc kiddos. Once I get it a little better established, I would love to sell ad space! Any wahms who might be interested? What is a reasonable price for such a thing? I have an idea of how much I think. How much would you pay for something like this with a blog that is new (maybe 1 month old)?

First off, you need subscribers. Once you have a good number of followers, only then can you realistically sell ad space. You'll need to commit to a certain number of posts per week so they know they'll be getting the exposure they're purchasing. There are millions of blogs out there, so you'll have to be able to describe why they should spend their advertising dollars on you.

Often times, as a start-up blog, you can talk companies into a pay per click deal (the number of times someone accesses their website through your blog). That way they aren't spending money for nothing.
