:-) I sew CUTE fleece (-: EmotiBums
|
uh oh, leftover Halloween print fabric :-/
I just finished cutting out all the pieces for the trick-or-treat bags I'm making my boys this year. I didn't do much planning ahead, instead I impulsively bought the fabrics because I was there and they were cute (and on a slight discount). Needless to say, I have over two yards left of coordinating prints.
I can't think of anything else to make, and it will bug me to store something so theme-y. Does anyone have any cute ideas for projects out of Halloween-print woven fabric? I can only think to make even MORE trick-or-treat bags, but then IDK what I will do with them If I make more, I'll need to buy more interfacing. The prints would not be appropriate for clothes for my boys...or me...Thanks!

Could you make a table decoration? Like a table runner or something to decorate with?

If you cut a circle of fabric, stuff the middle & then pull the fabric up around the stuffing & bunch it up on top, you can make no sew pumpkin decorations. You tie off the top fabric with twine & then just run a couple more pieces of twine around the whole thing to make the "ridges".
This is a fancy version: http://www.happyhourprojects.com/201...this-week.html

Do you have a pic of the fabric?
Would you be interested in trading for some Christmas print fabric? Or some fleece?

You have a yard of each?
Those are super cute. I would love to work out a trade if you are interested. I have a whole tub of fleece (blizzard fleece from JoAnns) in all sorts prints or solids all about a yard or so, as well as some Christmas stuff. I might even have some general fall/harvest cotton...in fact, I know I do, just not sure how much, that would be great for interior decorating projects.

Thanks (I was really surprised to find them because I, too, thought they were totally adorable) -- I'll have to measure them out later, but I'll do that. I'm not looking to trade for fleece but I might be interested in your fall prints
