KAL ~ Aug 5-11 ~ Summer fun!

Hi ladies;

We made it to the ILs on Monday. FIL was sick, went to the DR yesterday and found out he has pneumonia. So he's stuck in his room, not able to see his grand daughter, over his birthday too. We were all exposed to whatever he had all Monday anyway.

I'm currently in bed, I came down with something sinusy. My face hurts like a mofo. Running nose, sore throat... blah blah.

Oh no! That's awful! I hope you and your FIL are feeling better quickly.

Katie, I hope for an easy, uneventful trip home.

Today I'm off work. My sister from England returns home tomorrow so we are getting together and taking the kids to the park for a picnic. Should be a good day.

Karen, I didn't need pads by the time I had my third child. I only nurse on one side and that side didn't leak, just figured that my body had it down pat by the time the last one came out? I had some cotton ones JIC, but didn't use them. Mine were round.

I hope you are feeling better shannon, that is not fun to be sick and away from home. I hope FIL can come out soon after the abx kick in. I'm knitting away on your top

Sounds like you did your domestic duties well Fi, good girl. Did you hear back from your sweater lady yet?

I wish it would get cooler here Mattie, it is still hot, hot, hot any time of the day.

don't have any big plans for the day. It is DD's first day of school today, of course she was excited and got up early, not too bad though.

I still have one basket of laundry to put away and one to fold, I'll put that on the list today. Plans to bring back the books from the library. I need to help the boys clean up their room. And of course, knit.

I am I am. There's usually two good answers with one little thing that makes one wrong, it's tricky. I have to make a 65 in order to pass. The lowest I have ever made is a 72 and that was last week when all the crap was going on with my biomom and I didn't study at all. So hopefully I'll be ok.
