Re: I cant do this, overwhelmed
Good advice here. Trust me it gets easier and is so worth it. I had a horrible time with my first for the first two weeks... Your both learning. Hang in there. You CAN do this!!

but i'm lucky that I come from a family that EBF (every generation EVER!) so all my family reassured me that it would get better and would be the most rewarding relationship possible. I stuck with it and have successfully bf all of my lo's through toddlerhood and beyond My first is now 14 and headed to high school. It flies by and I treasure the time I spent with her snuggled up nursing Stick with it! These days are by far the hardest. You will never regret bf and will be proud of pushing through these early days.

Re: I cant do this, overwhelmed
absolutely. i was sooo disappointed in nursing when my first was a newborn. i remember thinking "wow, i don't even want to admit it, but i hate nursing. i just. hate it." and then crying about it all the time. but a couple months later it all turned around. this time, i STILL hated it in the begining. but at least i knew there would be an end to it. it really WILL get better and you will enjoy it so much more and be really glad you fought through these rough early days.

Re: I cant do this, overwhelmed
Just echoing that it keeps getting easier. Just think about how much better you both are at it compared with when she was born. The learning curve is that much again the second week too. You will both be pros in no time.
Be proud of yourself for not giving up!!!
