Re: Blurred spot in vision!
I would definitely call. It could be benign like an optical migraine but it could also be a warning sign for pre-e. GL!

Re: Blurred spot in vision!
I had this haooen while pregnant and my OB told me to check my blood pressure immediately. Could be that it is too high and that's never good. I would call your doctor.

Re: Blurred spot in vision!
I had the same thing with all of my pregnancies, was diagnosed with a migraine. I only get them when pregnant, they all involve a blurry or wavy spot in my vision. For me, they go away with rest. I'd let your doctor know.

Happens pretty often to me too. As soon as I start seeing that blurry spot I know a migraine is coming on so I need to take some excedrin. Though it happens while I'm not pregnant so idk what I'd do to tame it if it happens while I am pregnant.

My Mood:

This happened to me a few months ago. Ended up with complete tunnel vision in one eye and was freaking out. Turns out its a very common migraine symptom
![]() I wasn't preggo, so I was drinking coffee and my mom thinks that's why it regressed back to normal before going full blown. When I was preggo and somewhere around 30+ weeks, my midwife gave be a prescription to help. So, if you're getting migraines, there is relief and I would talk to your dr.

Re: Blurred spot in vision!
I had that a few weeks ago. I skipped lunch on a hot day after eating little for breakfast... big no-no at this point. I had like zero peripheral vision due to spots I was seeing. I ate a snack, had some caffeine (not a usual thing for me while not pregnant, let alone while pregnant) drank a bunch of water and things went back to normal. I did some reading and learned that when you skip meals on a regular basis, your placenta picks up the slack and can cause serious issues for you and baby. I also think it's a pre-cursor for Pre-E... I'd let your caregiver know just in case.

I had that with my first several weeks before being diagnosed with HELLP.

she said because i have a strong prescription i am at higher risk of retinal detachment and that can be a symptom. i'm surprised that more mamas aren't concerned with the implications of vision and blood pressure in pregnancy. i would call my doctor.
