Just curious. Now that most of us (who are) have found out gender- Did you do anything to sway for one gender or the other? Did it work?

We were trying to sway BOY and we got a BOY. Here is what we tried:

Timing BD on/after OPK confirmed Ovulation
DH switched to boxers (from boxer briefs) 2 months before starting TTC
Stuck to a higher salt diet low in calcium, drink coffee, apple juice, etc. (this was not a change for us, just happened to be what we normally do).
DH drank a cup of coffee about an hour before BD
BD position conducive for a boy
Laid with hips up for 30 minutes after BD to get the "boys" as close to the egg as possible

(can you tell we really wanted a boy this time after 2 girls?)

Your post made me giggle. After two boys I really wanted a girl. I wasn't tracking my cycle but I could kind of guess where things were with my CM. the only thing that would be considered gender swaying was the last bd was 3 to 4 days before I ovulated.

I dont know if we did anything different really. I was using opks this time and we did positions said to help the male sperm but that was the only difference b/t this one(a little boy!) and our girls.

-DDC- yep I did the same! We REALLY wanted a boy ( we have a girl and he has a DD from a previous marriage ) and lone behold we have our boy.

Nope. After my second trimester loss and then trouble conceiving for several months after that, I was just happy to finally get pregnant. Plus I wanted another girl

No swaying for me. It was hard enough to get this baby at all.

We did sway some. Since we were TTC for a while, I got tired of swaying my diet, so that wasn't really a factor. We concentrated more on timing and position of intercourse, and it seemed to work! Getting the boy we wanted!

We swayed for a girl using just timing but we failed lol
