It is so hard watching your kids knowing that they are missing something too. I think that is the hardest part for me.

Dh put me off for a while with "lets wait" then it was just "we have two boys and that is enough". I finally have him agreeing that we can adopt though I think we will probably be adopting a slightly older child, that is what he wants to do and I think I am ok with that. There is a part of me that would love a baby or at least a toddler, but honestly I don't really need that either. Just getting him to say that at some point we can finally add that missing member to our family is something. Of course he still says we have to wait at least another year, possibly more. It is something though.
