Re: Aug 6th weekly chat

Here's the family cradle. The one pic shows the carving on the end that my Opa did. The sheets inside the cradle are my Oma's. My mom made the white hanging fabrics to replace a dingy old yellow fabric for our kids' generation. I love it. Ignore the mess around it. Now I can't wait to put a baby in it.

Re: Aug 6th weekly chat

I had my baby girl 11 pm Thursday night 8/9! I ended up going in to the hospital when DH came home- got there at abt 5pm and went straight to L&D. So, not too early- better than my other two, being there for 10+ hrs before babies were born...
Hope everyone is doing well!

I love the detailing on the side!

Congrats mama!

Tomorrow is my EDD. Lets see how much longer I have. Getting some mucous and having loose stools. So maybe a DD baby or maybe not. I don't plan on working any more after last night though.

LOT= left occiput tansverse. (In between posterior and anterior). Do lots of cat/cow, right exaggerated SIMS, and lunges to help rotate babe. . I believe spinningbabies.com will have some great suggestions, too.

WSS My LO was LOT for weeks and is now LOA and ready for birth. I did cat-cows, did not sit leaning back (so no lazy-boy), sat as far forward as possible.

LOT- there ya go- LOL!

Beautiful cradle... just be prepared that some babies just won't do it!!! I've got this great mini-cosleeper with organic wool mattress and organic sheets... 4 kids... has a baby ever slept in it? No. But it is great for holding diapers and a water bottle!!!

That is funny, and SO true.

It is dh and my 6 yr anniversary today.
Mil babysat and we just had an early date. Japanese grill. Where they cook in front of u (WHY can't I think of the name for that right now?).
Was good. Oh and of COURSE, no date of ours would be complete without a trip to Menards (home improvement store). Funny. I had to take a pic walking in
