Beekeeping?

Bumping this hoping to hear from mamas that keep bees! I'd really love to do this but I have concerns naturally, we are in a fairly urban location.

Ok, I read quite a bit about beekeeping in my Back to Basics book, I did a lot of googling and it seems pretty simple.

I think I'm ordering my bees from here

Tho my local feeed store is going to set me up with someone who keeps bees to get 'lessons' and a guy Dh works with knows someone (he knows everyone I swear) who sells already started hives etc. I'm excited about it. I'm going to do this in the spring. My next endevor is goats and after the bees I'm done for a while, or at least I 'think' I am!

We live in the country and I've still got some fears and questions about it. I need like "Introductry to Beekeeping." It's not something I've heard a lot about so it seems kind of new and unusal....and intimidating! I would like to try it someday though!!
