Parkway vs monterrey??
Is one really better than the other? Does the submarine clip really make a difference? Also can someone post the link for me to see if my 5.5 year old is even ready?
He is 44inches and 40lbs....40.25 to be exact so just barely! Sent from my iPhone using DS Forum

Re: Parkway vs monterrey??
I personally like the monterrey I have one for my dd and I think it is the best booster out there.

Re: Parkway vs monterrey??
If you have headrest support in your car, either are options.
If you don't have head support, only the Parkway is an option. Does he have the maturity to ride in a booster? Will he stay still the whole trip and not reach for dropped items, or fall over when he falls asleep? |

Re: Parkway vs monterrey??
If you are able to try both before buying, that would be ideal. Both are very nice seats. The Monterey has recently come under discussion for the requirement that the child have head support from the vehicle headrest (behind the booster seat headrest).
The Monterey can be LATCHed and the regular Parkway cannot; however, the Parkway does have a LATCHable version (SGL). |

Re: Parkway vs monterrey??
Lots of people have had problems with the new belt guide on the Monterey. I would not purchase one without being able to try it out first to see if it will work.

Re: Parkway vs monterrey??
I decided against the monterey for the reasons mentioned so far: needing full head support and potential belt guide issues.
DD liked the parkway, turbo, and turbo w/ss. I want to see the new graco that comes out next month (the affix?).

Re: Parkway vs monterrey??
he has the graco nautilus now...and he sits next to his sister who is RF in a Britax Decathlon...and he can't reach the female part of the buckle...how big of an issue is this?
