Re: having 2 kids share a dresser?
We do not have closaets in Germany. I have basically a book shlef with drawers 6 shelves I believe.
Bottom is jammies Next pants Top Onsies rompers and one piece outfits socks and under garmets I then have one hanging ikea bin thing, which can hold like baby tights, undershirts, socks if I end up needing that top shelf. I have a tiny little dresser in the hall for outerwear. Its maybe 2 feet by 2 feet. We also have a little coat rack we will eventually get hung. But snowsuits and stuff live in here. And each boy will have one small basket for shoes under the coat rack. Thats all, each boys wardrobe in each size (minus winterwear) fits into a 17 gallon ikea bin. So far both boys stuff fits in the cupboard just fine. If only I could minimalize my diapers...

Re: having 2 kids share a dresser?
My almost 5yo and my 3.5yo share a dresser. The top drawer is socks, underwear, swimsuits, tights, etc (shared) then DD has a drawer for tops and one for bottoms and DS has the same. Their pjs are in their nightstand (1 drawer each).

Re: having 2 kids share a dresser?
My five and 2 1/2 year old share a dresser. I have thoroughly enjoyed purging enough clothing to make that happen.

Re: having 2 kids share a dresser?
My girls share a dresser, 2 & 5 years old.
Top drawer: 2 yo socks, panties, baby legs, etc & jammies 2nd drawer: 2 yo pants & shorts 3 rd drawer: swim for both girls including suits, swim diapers, floaties, water shoes 4th drawer: 5 yo socks, panties & Jammies 5th drawer: 5 yo pants, shorts, skirts Hanging in their closet they have a double rod and all shirts and dresses are hanging up. The 5 yo clothes are on the bottom rod and bottom drawers so she can reach everything to get herself dressed. However, I am looking to move their clothes and get everything INSIDE the closet, so that is my next big move!

Re: having 2 kids share a dresser?
We have a 3 and 6 yo share a 4 drawer dresser. I have all the drawers split down the middle so they can share easily and have one side for tops and one side for bottoms in their personal drawer. It works for us but they also have some hanging in the closet. Mostly sweaters and coats. They each probably have about 10 outfits per season plus a few extra shirts and 7 or so PJ's. We are lucky that they both wear the same size undies and socks so that makes it a little easier.
Top undies and socks / pull ups 2nd PJs 3rd Ethans Drawer 4th Owens Drawer

Re: having 2 kids share a dresser?
My four kids (ages 4, 4, 3, and 21months) are currently sharing a 4 drawer dresser, and a small closet. Each kid gets one drawer- swimsuits on back left-hand side, pajamas on front of left-hand side, regular clothing in the middle, socks and undies to the right. I only hang the things that are either too bulky for the drawers, or that would have to be ironed if kept in a drawer. We make it work.

Re: having 2 kids share a dresser?
My boys share a room - dresser & closet. We hang their school clothes and their play/weekend clothes are in the dresser.
