I have been taking 200 mg progesterone x day since 3 dpo. I am miscarrying & wonder if it will prevent me from starting to bleed? Anyone experience a m/c while taking progesterone/prometrium?

From everything I have read it can delay bleeding temporarily, but it will not stop it. Praying for you Deanna.

Yes - I mc'ed on Prometrium and did not bleed till I stopped it. I have PCOS and was not on Metformin yet to prevent losses.

I had a chemical & a mc, both while on Crinone. W/ the chemical, I think AF was only 1-2 days late, & I stopped the crinone then. I was 6wks when they dx the mc. I stopped the crinone then, but still didn't start bleeding for 2 more weeks.

I miscarried on prometrium and I started bleeding on my own despite the med. It seemed to make it slower than my previous losses but it didn't stop it.
