IMO there is a big gap between the size 1 and 2s. It depends on how big your babies thighs are. If you go to their facebook page they have an album of toddlers in their diapers. There are quite a few babies in size 1.

I don't actually have any Apple Cheeks... because the thought of pulling an insert out of the center of a poopy diaper does not appeal to me lol (my FL would not agitate those inserts out... and actually spraying off peanut butter poop would not be appealing either!). BUT I do use AMP duo diapers which are basically the same cut/style. They are great & trim - I stuff mine with Alva bamboo inserts. I think they are super comfy for baby since they have tummy elastic. AMP have a OS diaper & sized diapers (size 1 & 2) - I use the OS so I don't have to buy two diff sizes. Anyways, just my preference

i love em and i dont take the insert out. it comes out in the wash!! DH looooves that. they are pretty trim but not too much more than my other dipes on my LO... I just find them cute as heck!
