No problem! The large size is for kiddos 33lbs and up, aprox 3 years old. If your little one has extra fluffy thighs though, they'd probably fit a younger one. My 2 1/2 yo got tall and skinny on me, so they were just a little too big. They aren't waterproof, but they're plush, so they don't soak through immediately. They'll hold a little trickle, but not a full blown accident. Hope that helps!
