OK, so I accidently gave someone my pp addy with a typo :hides: I feel terrible!!! The mama has not gotten back to me in a couple days and a couple messages so I'm not sure if she tried to pay or not. I tried emailing this typod address, not valid, i tried sending money to it in pp and it says its not registered so they would email the address and instruct imaginary person on how to set up a pp account....so does this mean that if the mama did attempt to send money to pp that they are holding her money until the imaginary person sets up an account...or did pp not accept the money???? phew this is so confusing and i really wish the mama would get back to me so i can sort it out

pp wouldn't accept it. Just message her again stating that you made a typo and what the real address is.

Yep. It'll just sit in limbo, not accepted, until she cancels the payment (if she paid). If you've already sent a couple of messages or emails to her, I don't see what else you can do.

I had a similar situation happen in the spring. It was no bueno! Glad your issue got resolved.
