What to do with threadbare diapers

I am hoping to get some ideas about two dozen diapers I bought from eBay that are really threadbare. They came as a lot with some covers. The seller offered a refund but wanted me to send the stuff back to a different address. Long story short, I ended up keeping the diapers and covers. Now I have this big stack of diapers and I do not know what to do with them. They were going to be a big part of my stash for baby due in Sept. but they are so frayed and stringy I had to buy others. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Ive known mamas to just lay a prefold inside and use the diaper as kind of a cover, then of course put a cover on top. Also, if you are sew savvy, maybe post in the craft section. Im sure the mamas there could help a ton. I hope things work out.

Thanks for the ideas! I love to sew and I even have some extra diaper material my aunt sent me. Why did I not put the two together? I guess I am more crafty than creative! I will post in the craft section too.
Thanks again!
