My Mood:
pre-eclampsia or stress

We have a lot on our plate. We have four children 5 and under, expecting in 2.5 weeks, and we just received a placement for a 2-year-old foster boy 8 days ago. Also, half of my family has some lame summer cold. I had to take my two oldest to see the Dr. yesterday, but because my husband had a meeting I had to take all five! We had to wait forever, and then got a prescription filled which also meant waiting forever. When we got home I was a mess. My best description "I'm drowning!" For the last week I've had some spotty vision, and today it was nonstop, as well as decreased baby movement (still moving just not nearly as much), I gained 2 pounds in the last day, and I have felt faint all day. My Dr. was out of the office today and I have an appointment first thing in the morning, so I didn't call. I'm wondering how much of this is just stress...

I would say the stress def. factors in and can add to things like feeling faint (you may not be eating/drinking as well). You could also be catchign whatever bug your littles have passing around. The main one that worries me is the spotting vision. I hope all is well at your appt today and life settles a little for you soon. GL

My Dr. thinks most of these symptoms are coming from the onset of a cold. My bp was pretty good and no protein in urine, so I guess we're good to go for a few weeks. Now if I could only get some rest!!!
