Everything went pretty good except the hospital she was born in had just changed their policy regarding adoption the day before. So all the staff was confused if we could see her or not. It ended up we had to have staff supervised visits only a few times a day for an hour at a time. Very sucky. But our lawyers ended up scrambling around and getting us power of attorney and got her released to us.

The only other thing that isnt so awesome is that BD did not sign his rights away. Not so much from not wanting to rather not wanting to go to court I think (I hope). So we will file at 60 days and then again at 6 months to terminate rights. Just sort of stinks.

DD does indeed love her but I think she also thinks she's a little boring.

That"s crazy! The hospital situations seem to vary so much ~ all the way from rooming in with adopting parents to apparently supervised visitation Wondering where in the midwest you are? Not in Omaha are you?
