Re: Schedule/routine

i dont really have a set schedule but basic looks something like this

5:20--me up get dressed, feed and let dog out, get ready for work
6:00am--me leave for work
(this morning schedule will change once baby is here and I return to work and look:
4:45 me up--gett completely lready for work, including feeding dog
5:30--wake baby to feed and put back to bed
6:00am--leave for work
7:00ish--DH gets DS1 up and ready for school
7:40---DS1 gets on bus and goes to school
anytime during this or after DS gets up and DH gets him ready. Takes him to daycare on his way to to work-- could be right then or as late as 10am.
2:30--I leave work and head home,
3:00--home and do a little picking up, feed and let dog out
3:30--DS1 gets dropped off by bus
3:45- pick up DS2 from daycare
4:00-- back home or we go run any errands (I try to avoid this if possible)
make and eat supper
try play with boys
any homework for DS1
one load of laundry
clean one part of house
play outside if weather is nice, take dog for walk

8:00 bath get ready for bed
8:30--read books
8:45--boys in bed
8:45-9:15-- me do any other picking up/cleaning
9:15-- sit on couch and read/watch tv/computer time till DH gets home
10is-- let dog out and then I go to bed.

wife and mom-- no other special labels. Just trying to do the best I can.

Re: Schedule/routine

Kitchen is always spotless before bed and garbage is emptied. I also usually wash diapers every night before bed. We do at least a load of laundry a day which gets put in in the a.m. and taken out in p.m. and then folded, but generally keep in laundry basket until end of week and put it all away at once. We make lunches for everyone at night and set out clothes the night before. We get the kids involved in chores, and DH and I both spot clean, like I will wipe down a counter or clean a toilet when I'm already in the bathroom. Kids have to clean their room and put up toys before bed every night.

Re: Schedule/routine

We are still perfecting it, now that we have DS to get ready in the morning too!

6:30 - DH and I wake up, one of us hops in shower while other one wakes up DD (4yrs od)
6:45 - I get DD dressed/ready for daycare, DH is out of shower, DH wakes up DS (5m old), then hop in shower
7:00 - DS gets dressed/fed (usually by me but sometimes DH)
7:20 - I finish getting ready
7:30 - we play in the living room until its time to leave (I leave around 7:45, DH takes kids to daycare and leaves about 7:55)
4:30 - I pick up DD and DS from daycare
5:00 - get DD a quick snack, play on floor with DS while she eats, we usually color, puzzles, finishes art project form daycare
5:30 - I start dinner while kids play in dining room (right off of kitchen and in sight always with baby)
6:00 - DH gets home, takes kids so I can finish up/get supper ready
6:15 - dinner usually
6:40 - done eating, either get DS ready for bed/bottle or play a bit first, or DS bath
7:00 - DS eats and goes down for night/DD plays
7:30 - DD bath if its bathnight or just gets ready for bed/watch a show before bed
8:00 - DD goes down, one of us stays in there until she's asleep, usually until 8:40 ish
8:45 - ahh us time...finally!
