Re: How much does a months worth of forums cost?
I also use the Sam's formula and my DD has no issues with it! It ends up being about $60 a month if we buy 3 of the large cans.

Re: How much does a months worth of forums cost?
I never would have guessed formula would be cheaper in the States. I actually started Goats Rue and it worked and I haven't given my DD formula in a week, but it is so expensive I might have to go back to the formula. I am in Canada and the herbs seem to cost so much. I need the strngest ones and to take the highest dose. Thanks so much everyone. I thought formula was hmdreds of dollars a month.

Re: How much does a months worth of forums cost?
This thread cracks me up. DS is on Peptamin Jr, which is ready-to-feed. Our homecare company charges $28 for each juicebox size container. Our bill is about $4400 a month for it.
![]() Obviously, insurance picks that up. But we spend more in a day than most of you spend in a month!

Re: How much does a months worth of forums cost?
For DD1 I spent about $35/week when she was on brand name formula. I cut that in half when I switched to store brand, she was EFF from about 4 weeks till 4.5 months then I slowly introduced solids and she took formula until she was just undr a year old. This was about 5 years ago.

I totally understand where you are coming from. I used to take 160mg of domperidone per day, plus 9 pills of fenugreek, and More Milk Plus Special Blend (with goat's rue) every day. I still had to supplement and on just the meds/herbs alone I was spending probably $100+ a month.

I did similac ready to feed soy for 9 months and it cost $60 total. Similac does so many coupons in the mail and in the paper that i was getting them free or
.50 a jug. I still stock up on the organic stuff even though my goal is to only bf dd who's almost five months. I have 120 jugs that i have paid $12 total for with expirations of 2013. |
