Weird

So this seems a little weird to me, I weighed myself today and have gained about 1lb in two weeks. I've lost about 2.5-3lbs since getting pregnant, so I'm not even at my prepregnancy weight. I just had an u/s last week and the tech said that lo weighs about 4oz at 14wks 3dys. Does that seem a little off? lol I just think its weird that Im not gaining weight but he's way above the 14 week average of 1.5-2.5 oz.

your body could be eating up its fat stores so although the baby is growing you are losing fat at a faster rate...only thing I can think of

hehehe how fantastic would that be if it happened to me. As long as my baby is getting everything s/he need of course

I agree. I know people who have continued to lose weight through their entire pregnancy and they ended up with babies who were bigger than my tiny little babies even though I gain about 45 lbs average. Also, u/s isn't always super accurate when determining baby's weight and just because it's the "average" doesn't mean that that's the right weight for everybody. They all seem to grow at their own pace. I wouldn't worry about it

Yeah, I'm not too worried, just think its weird. Especially since I havent changed my diet and had no morning sickness or anything to catch up on weight wise. Its the only thing that has been different than my preg. with DD. With her I gained about 8lbs by this time and just kept going lol. This time nada, and I can feel the edge of my uterus as well so I can feel the baby lump if he's pressed up on that side, never been able to feel that before. So its just been a bit different in this aspect
