Raincoats

What's a good raincoat for a toddler boy? probably a 2T or 18 months, ish.

I want good quality, fits nice and not sloppy, cute, and lighterweight. Not too picky about how much it costs, I just want something good.

I usually look toward Janie and Jack for outerwear but I don't see anything water resistant.

Does anyone have this one?

ETA: with a hood, please

Re: Raincoats

Hands down this jacket from REI http://www.rei.com/product/827088/re...nttoddler-boys It has velcro on the arm to make the wrists fit better, very light weight, and if you swagbuck you get points. We just bought both boys one with their labor day sale because they are good coats.

We gave them a test run at the local children's science museum. THey provided them in the water play area to keep kids dry and they worked wonderfully (unless your kid dumps the water on his head without the hood up ) All of our REI stuff has been good quality and I think their return policy on their brand stuff is great.

Re: Raincoats

I buy the Hartstrings raincoats for the kids. I usually buy up a size so they can wear them a couple of years and I manage to get them on sale and with a coupon.

These look awesome. Do they have the backside a touch longer to cover the cloth diaper butt?

Ajane, my husband will probably hate you for all eternity because I did not know about Kitestrings' huge sale section.... I have like $400 of stuff in my cart. And, I just sent the link to my sister. Bad bad bad
