DO NOT USE BLEACH in frontloaders. The drawers dropit right in on the clothing. And that little drawer that looks l ike it would hold it is for the rinse cycle and will drop it on your cloths after they wash is over. I dont think you can use bleach in any HE machines.

I know the german response was oh you cant use bleach in a washer. I guess maybe they soak in the bathtub no clue. Its not commonly used here in laundry.

This is utterly completely false. It might be true in Germany but not in the U.S. There are clearly labeled bleach compartments that properly dilute the bleach for the main wash cycle on all FLers I have seen here. You probably used the fabric softener drawer.
